Simon Vasseur-Bacle a clinical and systemic psychologist by training, he works at the EPSM Lille Métropole (public mental health hospital), as Director of Programmes at the WHO Collaborating Center for Research and Training in Mental Health (WHOCC, Lille).

Since March 2020, he is also Project Manager at the Ministerial Delegation for Mental Health and Psychiatry, French Ministry of Health, in charge of the organization and follow-up of the World Summit on Mental Health Rights "Mind OurRights, Now!", which took place in Paris on October 5 and 6, 2021.

He brings to the Delegation his expertise on issues related to the respect for rights in mental health, the organization of mental health services and on international cooperation in the field of mental health.
