The national government agreed the transfer of public works with the provinces of Misiones and Santa Cruz
The signed agreements include public works, education, and housing
The Chief of Staff, Guillermo Francos, held two meetings this afternoon with the governors of Misiones, Hugo Passalacqua, and Santa Cruz, Claudio Vidal, to sign various agreements that stipulate the transfer and collaboration in matters of public works, education, and housing.
According to the agreements, the Nation will transfer to each province various hydraulic projects, school building constructions or expansions, and housing projects, which will be continued by the provincial administrations. Additionally, the national government committed to executing another set of strategic projects that are already well underway.
Present at the meetings were the Secretary of Provinces and Municipalities, Javier Milano; the Secretary of Public Works, Luis Giovine; the Secretary of Territorial Development, Habitat, and Housing, Rodrigo Aybar; the Undersecretary of Habitat and Housing, Santiago Sánchez Sorondo; the head of ENOHSA, Bartolomé Heredia; the Undersecretary of Administrative Management of the Ministry of Education, María Inés Borgin Alba; and the Minister of Economy of Santa Cruz, Marilina Jaramillo.
In recent weeks, the national government has signed agreements of similar characteristics with the provinces of Catamarca, Chaco, Chubut, Córdoba, Entre Ríos, Jujuy, Mendoza, Neuquén, Salta, and Tucumán.
