The national government agreed the transfer of public works with the provinces of La Rioja and Santiago del Estero
The agreement, which stipulates waterworks, sanitation, road, sewage, urban infrastructure, housing, and educational projects, was signed in a meeting between the Chief of Staff, Guillermo Francos, and governors Ricardo Quintela and Gerardo Zamora in the Salón de los Escudos of Casa Rosada.
The Chief of Staff, Guillermo Francos, received the governors of La Rioja, Ricardo Quintela, and Santiago del Estero, Gerardo Zamora, in the Salón de los Escudos of Casa Rosada, where they agreed with the national government on the transfer and cooperation in public works, educational infrastructure, and housing.
The signed agreements stipulate waterworks, sanitation, road, sewage, urban infrastructure, housing, and educational projects. Additionally, the national government committed to executing another set of strategic projects with a high degree of progress.
Present at both signings were the Deputy Chief of the Interior Cabinet, Lisandro Catalán; the Secretary of Provinces and Municipalities, Javier Milano; the Secretary of Public Works, Luis Giovine; the Secretary of Education, Carlos Torrendell; and the head of ENOHSA, Bartolomé Heredia. Meanwhile, the Secretary of Territorial Development, Housing, and Habitat, Rodrigo Aybar, participated in the meeting with the governor of Santiago del Estero.
Representing the government of La Rioja were the Minister of Infrastructure, Marcelo Del Moral, and the Secretary of Public Works, Raúl Andalor.
To date, the national government has signed similar agreements with the provinces of Catamarca, Chaco, Chubut, Córdoba, Entre Ríos, Jujuy, Mendoza, Neuquén, Salta, Tucumán, Misiones, Santa Cruz, Santa Fe, San Luis, and San Juan.
