In this way, of the 555 notifications analyzed to date, 95% of the disease outbreaks have already been closed in total throughout the country since the start of the health emergency 161 days ago (February 15).

Buenos Aires, March 16th, 2023 - The National Service for Agri-food, Health and Quality (Senasa) confirmed 3 new positive cases of Avian Influenza (AI) H5 (from the 10 samples tested today) in backyard birds, 2 in the Buenos Aires province (General Madariaga y Pedro Luro) and 1 in the Neuquen province (Las Lajas), adding up a total of 58 detections of AI up to the moment throughout the country.
