The national government agreed with the province of Corrientes the transfer of public works

The Chief of Staff, Guillermo Francos, held a meeting today at Casa Rosada with the governor of Corrientes, Gustavo Valdés. They signed agreements for the transfer and cooperation on public works.

The agreements include road works, expansion of the drinking water network, sanitation, and educational and urban infrastructure that will be continued by the provincial administration. Additionally, as part of the agreement, the national government committed to carrying out another set of strategic works.

The meeting was attended by the Secretary of Provinces and Municipalities, Javier Milano; the Secretary of Public Works, Luis Giovine; the Secretary of Territorial Development, Rodrigo Aybar; the Secretary of Education, Carlos Torrendell; the Undersecretary of Habitat and Housing, Santiago Sánchez Sorondo; and the head of ENOHSA, Bartolomé Heredia.

With the agreement signed today, there are now 19 provinces that have signed this type of agreement. In addition to Corrientes, Catamarca, Chaco, Chubut, Córdoba, Entre Ríos, Jujuy, La Rioja, Mendoza, Misiones, Neuquén, Río Negro, Salta, Santa Cruz, Santa Fe, San Juan, San Luis, Santiago del Estero, and Tucumán have already signed.
