Superintendente Adjunto de Seguros, Superintendencia de Banca, Seguros y AFP, Perú

Carlos es economista y master en finanzas de la Universidad del Pacífico y MBA de la Universidad de California Berkeley, actualmente es Superintendente Adjunto de Seguros de la SBS. Ha sido Gerente de Desarrollo en Diviso Grupo Financiero, Intendente General de Supervisión de AFP y Seguros en la SBS, asesor del MEF, Director de CONASEV, el Fondo de Seguro de Depósitos, Access to Insurance Initiative, y representante en el Directorio de la International Asociation of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) y la Asociación Latinoamericana de Supervisores de Seguros (ASSAL). Asimismo, ha sido consultor del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID).

Carlos holds a degree in economics and a master's degree in finance from the Universidad del Pacífico and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley. He is currently the Deputy Superintendent of Insurance at the SBS. He has served as Development Manager at Diviso Grupo Financiero, General Superintendent of AFP and Insurance Supervision at the SBS, an advisor to the MEF (Ministry of Economy and Finance), Director of CONASEV, the Deposit Insurance Fund, the Access to Insurance Initiative, and a representative on the Board of Directors of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) and the Latin American Association of Insurance Supervisors (ASSAL). He has also served as a consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
